Marianne Vahl holds a MA in Philosophy from the University of Oslo (UiO). As a trained philosophical practitioner, certified by the Norwegian Society for Philosophical Practice (NSFP), she has facilitated several philosophical dialogues in different venues including at a medical office. She has also worked with philosophy in school.
In 2013 she completed the teacher education program at UiO and is a qualified lecturer in music and philosophy/religion.
She is an authorized teacher by the Complete Vocal Institute (CVI) in Copenhagen, having also studied musicology at UiO. For over 20 years she has ben training the Italian Bel Canto singing technique with some of the leading vocal coaches in the world.
In 2004-2007 Marianne produced and did the singing on the CD "Lengsel " (Longing) with Danish and Norwegian Songs and Romances.
Marianne has international experience both as a singer and as a philosopher, experience including an invitation to South Korea to speak at the International Conference on Humanities Theraphy
In 2019 she was a Lidal North artist singing in two concerts in Oslo.
Further she was in 2010 invited by WWF to sing at the Bavarian representation in Brussel at the evening dialogue "Make Space for Nature".
